I am nuts, everyone is nuts. I can't believe this world we live in. I went to visit my cousin for the weekend. She lives in a place that would remind anyone of the projects. But it is not even as apealing as them..... 3 year olds sift through garbage cans, to make some money for their family. A 16 year old girl using herion on the front steps of the building......tweeking out, poverty, depression. No wonder no one can leave; it feels like you are stuck. I felt sorry for my cousin, not being able to feed her kids or buy them a winter jacket. But caring only turns to anger when I return home. Why is it that she always has weed, always has beer, always has smokes??? Because she doesn't think to take some of the money she spends on crap and put some food in her fridge. How could someone do that??? Neglect to buy there child a winter coat, but be sure to fill your tummy with beer. I'm scared. I'm scared that I will go there to visit them 10 years down the road and see HER daughter smoking herion on their front steps. I don't want that to happen.
